Clean Linen & Workwear Sales Presentation – Animated PowerPoint

 

Presentation Objective:

To create a professional sales presentation design that reflected the Clean brand and clearly presented the full business benefits of the Clean Linen Service.

Background Information:

The Client is a well established lined and workwear laundry business, servicing an impressive range of hotel, spa and event clients. They have the latest industry and plant equipment and continually develop in technology to streamline the process and deliver more efficiently.

The Clean brand identity is very strong and an asset to Clean who have invested time in the development of marketing materials and online presence.

They identified that the weak link in their marketing collateral was their Powerpoint sales presentation design that they were sending out with their sales team. Whilst it contained branded elements, most slides contained a large amount of text or bullet points. It therefore lacked engagement or any substance, so the sales team weren’t keen on using it. At this point the client contacted us to work on their sales presentation design because they knew that they had so much to offer their clients, but they were finding it difficult to communicate the many benefits.

Designing The Powerpoint Sales Presentation

In order to create a sales presentation design that engaged the target audience, we first had to conduct an audience audit. We did this to identify the areas of pain and frustration that customers experienced when buying this type of service as well as industry, environmental factors and competitor activity.

Once we had a good picture of the audience’s situation we went on to develop messages that would resonate with them. These included messages around the high expectations of their guests and furthermore, the impact of online guest reviews sites. Other messages focused around efficiency, financial and environmental messages, all of which impact the decision making process for the audience. Each message was mapped against one of Clean’s solutions. This method works because it increased the audience’s awareness of a pain point or problem that they need to deal with, at this point they become more receptive to looking for a solution which Clean were able to provide. 

Having identified the key messages, we storyboarded the sales presentation design and sketched up visual ways of presenting the information. We used a range of graphic solutions to display the messages, we added photographic images, process diagrams, infographics and a fantastic comparison animation.

The Final Sales Presentation Design

Clean were delighted with the new sales presentation design and it was quickly adopted by the sales team, who gave it a good road test to make sure they were completely happy with it.

Objective:

With an impressive client list, a library of success stories and a skilled and energetic team, this PR company wanted a pitch deck that really showcased these successes and make them stand out from competitors to win new business.

Background Information:

The client regularly produced PowerPoint slide decks to pitch for new business or to pitch creative ideas.

As in many cases, their original deck was fairly simple and comprised of bulleted text. Despite having a strong brand identity, this simply wasn’t portrayed in the deck. They were presenting their information in a bland fashion and were therefore already on the back foot when pitching for new business.

The Solutions

The main areas we developed were the introduction of brand colours and fonts, and the use of images to introduce their people, outline their services, present past projects and showcase their results. Their slides were transformed and were now bold, creative and engaging. The results from past project successes now leaped from the slides!

The final presentation was delivered as a ready to go pitch deck, but the client was also supplied with graphics, icons, images along with a slide master template, to enable the team to continually produce great pitches.

The Results

A professional deck that gave a true representation of the client’s business, their creativity and expertise.

Objective:

To create a seminar deck for education and sales purposes

Background Information:

Our client is a team of Business Planning and Development specialists who facilitate business success. BPG regularly hold seminars for business owners and decision makers. The purpose of the seminars is to inform and educate the audience upon an important business topic, and also to seed information about their Business Development Courses.

A small proportion of the audience are personally invited to the taster seminars, whilst the remainder pay to attend. Therefore, it is imperative that the seminars deliver on the promise to unlock business potential and the audience perceives their time invested has been well spent.

The seminar lasts approx. 2 hours and including in depth subject matter, therefore maintaining audience engagement was an important consideration factor, as was the need for the seminar to generate interest in the further paid programmes and create business leads.

The client’s original seminar deck consisted of forty + slides, the majority of which were bullet points, with the occasional clipart image or table.

The Solutions

Initially, we conducted an audience audit to determine their needs, goals, pain points and barriers. Each of these were then mapped to a solution, allowing us to rationalise the content. This ensured that all necessary content was covered, and any superfluous material omitted.

The rationalised content was then placed into a storyboard format and modified until the narrative flowed logically like an unfolding story.

Visuals and graphics were then added to support the audience in comprehension of key principles and to aid understanding complex processes. Animations were added as this can also help the audience reach a solution at their own pace.

Finally, the deck was styled in line with the business’s brand guidelines, making use of their fonts, colours and logos.

 

The Results

A professional deck that represented the client’s business as one of superior expertise in their field.

An engaging and entertaining deck was created achieving an impressive % increase in sales conversions.

The client was able to utilise the newly designed content and graphics and visuals, developed for the deck, on other marketing tools and communications.

Objective:

To create a slide deck to present Crichlow Associates’ expertise and services when pitching to new clients.

Background Information:

Our client was in the process of increasing their team and service offering, so required a deck to take to new client meetings.

The client’s team comprise of a number of individuals with a wealth of knowledge, expertise and established backgrounds in their business sector, but needed to present themselves as one business. Therefore the pitch needed to show breadth of service as well as project management and service delivery solution capability.

The client had an existing slide deck with initial information as a basis to work from.

The Solutions

Step one was to conduct an audience audit to determine the audience and establish their goals and any pain-points.

These findings were mapped against the existing content supplied by the client and it was identified that the slide deck needed to be more audience-centric to establish a deeper personal connection. This was achieved by bringing in discussion point slides for the pain-points.

These discussion slides were image based with a statement such as “we understand the issues you face when…” they were left open so that our client could then discuss the specific pain-points faced by that client. The slide deck then goes on to discuss solutions, services and case studies.

Finally, the entire deck was styled in line with the business’s brand guidelines, making use of their fonts, colours and logos.

The Results

A slide deck that presents the client’s business professionally, yet also engages the audience on a more personal level.
